TGIFRidays
I managed TGIFridays social accounts for 9 months in 2016. When I started, they had zero social media strategy or infrastructure. Complaints, questions and influencer mentions went unnoticed and unanswered. By the time I left the account, they had a content strategy, regular reporting, consumer escalation plans and an internal team that offered way more coverage than one, exhausted, agency-side community manager. After passing the baton to the newly minted TGIF social team, I worked on the account as a creative, penning a few flights of content.

My hybrid role as a Social Strategist and Community Manager meant I had react in real time to cultural events that touched the brand. When Deadpool mentioned TGIFridays on the big screen it was a big deal. I was tasked with writing social content to leverage the mention - without directly mentioning Marvel owned properties. Read Digiday's coverage here.
Flo Rida shot his "Hello Friday" music video partially inside a Miami TGIFridays. The shoot, subsequent block party, and video premier, all required live social coverage. I covered a number of "live" social events, working directly with clients to post in real-time.
